People often ask me about my favorite thing to photograph and that is, hands down, WEDDINGS! My second favorite thing to do is serve as the second shooter at a wedding!
A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to get to shoot with Jana Candler at the Ryan Nicholas Inn in Greenville. The Inn is an amazing setting for a wedding and this wedding was absolutely gorgeous! Mike and I were looking at these as I finally loaded them to the computer last night and he said, "this could've been set in the 1920's"-and I agree that every detail was just elegant.
Second shooting is a blast as it allows me liberty to play around shots and capture images of emotion and- chandeliers? (I might have been having too much fun!) Here are a few favorites...see the show for more...due to the busyness of this season, I didn't spend more than a few minutes on the edit-and no time on adding fun actions....maybe in February I'll get around to that!)

I met Kathy, Bubba, and Lauren at Furman for their Fall photos-and the leaves were beginning to cooperate. It amazes me what a few days can do for color and ground cover! These three were fun to work with-no wonder my sister's family loves them! Here's a sneak peak of what's to come in their show-don't miss it!

Sweet little Weston was a little older than one month when we finally got his newborn sitting done! He was precious and stayed awake the whole time I was working with him in the comfort of his nursery. We ran into his nap time, but he didn't complain...Welcome little man-I know your parents are so in love with you!
Here are a couple of shots from the morning. I do realize there are 2 feet images, but I like the little toes...especially when they're sporting diamonds!

Eric and Nekesia have just arrived in SC for their Saturday wedding, so we met this morning to get some fast engagement photos! These two are adorable together...and super fun! Saturday is going to be a blast! Check back next week to see them as newlyweds! Here are a few of my faves from today...

I met Sandy and her girls at the park one afternoon recently. They were super sweet for their photo session! I love the many expressions captured...both girls are adorable and full of fun personality, too! Here are a few of my favorites...

Carson, Clara, and Evan were super cooperative for their fast photo session! These 3 are so sweet and have a lot of fun together. Ashley, you wanted one good one, but I think you might have too many to choose from since the kids were happy to pose! Here are a few I picked, but see the show for more!

Some days lighting is just amazing-and on a recent Fall afternoon at Furman, it could not have been better! I was grateful-since Amanda had cheerfully postponed our first sitting due to my eye infection.
Whit and Abby were super sweet and allowed me the opportunity to get precious photos of all aspects of each of their personality! This fun family was a joy to be with! I felt like we were old friends. Here are a few handpicked favorites from our afternoon together...check out the show for more!

Caroline, Olivia, and little Miss Anna Kathryn twirled, giggled, and crawled all over the place on a chilly Sunday afternoon at Furman. I love being able to see my "baby sitting" babies again in the first year of life-they grow SO much! And this time, I think all 3 of them had changed since we met at the hospital to welcome Anna Kathryn! Here are some of my favorites from our afternoon together....this first shot is one of my favorites from the hospital-look how little Anna Kathryn was!

Samantha, Lally Rose, and Elias are beautiful children, so I wasn't surprised that I got so many gorgeous shots of them! The girls were ready to pose and smile on cue, but sweet little Elias is all BOY and made me work a little harder. I loved meeting Elephant, his apparent favorite toy of the moment! I've chosen to showcase a shot of the 3 and one of each, but it was so hard to pick which to use on the blog-you have to see the show!

That's just a preview...MUTE music and return to click here!

Welcome Little Miss Mary Grace! She is sweet as she can be and stayed awake for her entire photo session-as all girls I know, she didn't want to miss a thing! Here are a few of my favorite shots...next time I hope we can get her bulldog involved!

Congratulations, Brittany and Loren!! Your wedding was an amazing celebration and I was honored to be there to capture it for you...
When the guest list grew beyond full capacity of the bed and breakfast they had booked for the wedding, Brittany and her mom (my sweet friend, Shari) needed to change locations-which led to a Friday afternoon wedding...and it could not have been more perfect!
Brittany was gorgeous, Loren was smashing, the wedding party was a party all by themselves, the ceremony was very sweet and holy, and the reception at the Marriott was a blast! The afternoon skies threatened, but instead of raining us out of outside photo opps, the clouds held and the skies provided the coolest backdrop-we were all very thankful (especially me!)
The new couple danced the night away...literally-and had guests who were happy to stay and celebrate as long as the DJ was willing to take requests.
These are a few of my favorite shots-it was hard to choose!

I have about 5 more of Brittany's dress I love-I went to the church early in the day to take advantage of the morning light shining in and ended up doing a portrait sitting of the dress!

I was also able to sneak into Loren's drum room at his home to get a few cool shots of his ring and his drums

The Horner beauties-some of my favorite gals!

A romantic moment before the reception

I loved doing this collage of the beautiful and yummy cake, made by my friend Beth! These shots are a combination of mine and Christy Mason, who was my amazing second shooter for the day!

I'm very fond of this flower shot from the reception

This was when Loren said, "are you done yet?" Can't blame him-it WAS after midnight!
