Because one thing I learned from being on Coach Womble's 1983 Basketball team (0-14 season) was how to lose...Congratulations to all the Tigers I love!
Christy is an amazing photographer friend who I've so enjoyed shooting with this Fall! She's helped me with a few weddings and not earned nearly what she's worth, so for her birthday, I joined her and Dusty and Topher at the park for a family photo session...a photographer's favorite gift IS photos, after all! Here are a few of our favorites....

I'm very seasonally minded...Jelly Beans at Easter, Ice Cream in the summer, Candy Corn at Halloween, Pumpkin Muffins in October and November, Peppermint Mochas in December, you get the point...now I realize that all of these things are available year round in most markets, but enjoying them outside of their season takes something away, I feel! So it isn't like me to post Christmas photos the day before Thanksgiving-especially this year when I'm already super tired of the Christmas music that started the day after Halloween! (I mean, really, there were still leaves changing color!)
But in an effort to get in the mood for the Holidays, I thought this might help-maybe it'll help you, too! I might even get the decorations out now!

Happy Thanksgiving! Let's eat some turkey and deck the halls!

Speaking of changing paws to garnet... these are my great buddies and fun Tigers to mess with (mutually messed with, I assure you!) Will, Amy, Mac, and Mills, it is always a blast to take photos for you! I hope you love these as much as your Christmas card from 07!

I don't know if I can have favorites in my business, so let's just say Jackson is one of the "easiest" babies I've ever photographed. He's going to be a charmer, so watch out Ashley and Trevor! Jackson smiled on cue and made a Monday afternoon at Furman such a delight! Here are a few favorites...

Since we were going to be on campus for their engagement sitting, Amy and Chris decided it was a good time to get family photos too-I think the session was an anniversary gift for Mom and Dad! So, happy anniversary and happy Clemson photos! Mr Caudle, I promise you that the paw is going garnet if the Gamecocks take you down this weekend-haha! I had a blast with all of you-even if we were in Death Valley... Doesn't this just make you bust out in song..."It's the eye of the Tiger..."

Ann isn't officially family-yet- but she and Lawrence are super cute!
Everybody was in a kissing mood
THIS paw-orange for now! (:
Rock on Caudle Family! You are a fun bunch of Tigers!

Meet Amy and Chris...they are engaged to be united for life in 2009! It is obvious these two are madly in love...with each other...and Clemson! Both graduated from CU and have plenty of spots of memories there, so it was only fitting to do their engagement sitting on campus! We had the added bonus of getting into Death Valley! I'm refraining from smack talk and even helped color the field in some of the shots (unbelievable) but I've already told them the paw in the center may turn garnet over the weekend! (ok-just a tad bit of smack) These two didn't mind some smacking while we were shooting...to me about their Tigers and with each other-fun kissing shots ahead! Here are some of my faves from our day...

I love downtown Greenville, SC!
I think the most amazing thing for those of us who live here is we've seen what can become of something (and is true for someone) with a little vision and care, planning and determination, and money (:
It's truly an amazing picture of redemption if you have any idea what the area was a few years ago...lost glory revived.
So as I was "playing" with my photographer friends this evening, I got some cool shots of the area and wanted to share with my blog friends.

If I'd been carrying a tripod there might have been a show...these will be in PROOFING in a Public album-if you want a closer look or would like to make a purchase.
