I met the Allison family at Furman Monday night with the goal of getting a 2 year old portrait of Corey. It was a fun filled night of running and dum-dums! (I've photoshopped more dum-dums out of images today!) There are many sweet shots of this amazingly energetic family! There are some sessions that come like a breath of fresh air...little Tessa provided me one of these! She could not have been more perfect! Tessa-you look like a little princess! I'm happy we were able to capture those big blue eyes and sweet dimples-and some of your fun family, too!

One of my favorite things about photographing people is hearing their story. Kyle and Kim have been married for 14 years and while anticipating the long awaited birth of their baby, the received some frightening test results. As they viewed the ultrasound to explore further, the doctors and parents were thrilled to see a "thumbs up" from the baby!
Anna Barrett, you are a miracle! We welcome you to our world and to your sweet family who is so grateful you are here! To see her show, MUTE music on home page and return to click: AnnaB's show

Happy ONE!

A year ago when I began this blog, Emily's maternity sitting was one of the first shows posted! So I think it's fitting to celebrate my ONE year mark with Harrison's ONE year portrait sitting at the park! This little buddy might mistake me for a crazy aunt since I've photographed him so often this year. "Boo-gy", you're ONE of a kind! I love ya! Happy Birthday!

Last Friday I was thrilled to participate in a bridal brunch for my friend Katina's niece, Miss Brittani. The morning was sunny, the setting was dreamy, the food was scrumptious, and all the girls were divas in their sundresses and hats! Congratulations, Brittani! Best wishes for a long and happy marriage!

This little guy is becoming one of my favorites! Ivan and Ashley are celebrating ONE month with him. Thanks for allowing me to document this sweet milestone...I'm excited about many more to come! To see his show, MUTE music on home page and return to click: Coleman's Show

On Saturday, June 7, I was honored to photograph the wedding of Shannon and Larry! They are such a sweet couple and it has been my pleasure to get to know them this year! Guys, you and your wedding were gorgeous! Best wishes for a long happy life together!
At their Feb engagement sitting, I found it easier to get Larry to pose kissing than smiling, so I decided to "showcase" a few kissing poses from the wedding day!

Sweet baby Luke and I share a cousin-so it was such a treat to get to meet him this week (and his mom, dad, and awesome big sis, Rachael!) The little ones grow and change so fast so I'm always honored to get to capture them in the first months of their lives. Welcome to our world, Luke! It was a blazing hot day in Columbia on Sunday afternoon, but the Stanley family weathered the heat with me so I could capture their sweet family. Miss Ava stole the show, but I think Karrington and Jordan are getting use to that. You boys are precious, too!
It was a pleasure to meet you all! I've produced the show with a new song, appropriately titled "Three Children"

On Sunday, between church services, I was able to get to the hospital to meet the newest little Glenn! Sweet Clara is adorable! She was quite content to sleep during the whole sitting. We'll see those eyes soon, I bet!
As I returned to a intense lesson from Job, I was reminded that it is indeed a Sovereign God who allows us to be blessed by sweet little miracles like Clara and they are His. I know you have been perfectly placed into a loving family, Miss Clara, and I am eager to watch the Lord woe you to Himself as he reveals his perfect plan for who He has created you to be...I know you will be a blessing to us all...We welcome you!
